Installation Guide
(of a typical ATX PS2 size 5.9"W x 3.25"H x 5.5"D power supply for most desktop and tower PC system):
- Check the power supply voltage before installation; it must be the same as your local power voltage (115V for USA, and 220 - 230V for most of the European & Asian countries). Please change the voltage switch accordingly.
- Shut down the computer system, switch the power switch, if any, on the rear of your existing power supply to the "0" position, and disconnect the power cord. Follow your computer case manual and open the case.
- Disconnect all the power connectors from the motherboard and peripheral devices such as hard disk, CD-ROM, floppy drive, and all other peripheral drives.
- Un-screw the 4 screws on the rear side of the existing power supply, remove it from the case and replace it with the new power supply.
- Connect the power connectors to the motherboards' appropriate sockets and peripheral devices (please refer to your motherboard and peripheral devices' manual regarding where to connect the power)
- Close the computer case and secure the side panel with screws.
- Switch the I/O switch on the power supply to "I" position before pushing the On/Off button on the front bezel of the case and power up the system. (Note: the power supply will not work if the I/O switch is on "O" position. I/O switch might not available on all power supply models).
You should be able to power on the system without any delay or problem after following the above steps. Please feel free
